Introduction

Flintshire Local Voluntary Council (FLVC) was established in April 1997 as an independent registered charity number 1062644 and company limited by guarantee number 3301204. It was clear there was a role for this new  Council to continue the work previously undertaken by the Clwyd Voluntary Services Council which ceased to exist in 1996 following local government reorganisation when the County structure of Clwyd was divided into three separate Unitary Counties namely Flintshire, Wrexham and Denbighshire.

There are 14 Trustees and they are appointed to the Board by election at the Annual General Meeting by the members of FLVC for a period of 3 years.
