Carers Trust North Wales is a charity and is registered with the Care and Social Services Inspectorate for Wales (CSSIW) for domiciliary care for adults and children. They work with over 500 individuals and their families, helping carers make a life of their own outside caring. They employ trained care professionals, providing flexible services to people of all ages and with a range of disabilities and health conditions. Our mission is to provide respite care focusing on Carers, caring for people of any age who have special needs including mental health/dementia and parent carers of a child with illness/disabilities; the care is provided in the Carers own home. Respite can be provided any day of the week including weekends and evenings. Referrals are accepted following a Carer’s Assessment from Social Services for Adults or Social Services for Children. Carers Trust North Wales also accept referrals from partner agencies; from self-funders; from carers and their families and have a chargeable service for individuals who prefer to exercise choice and buy their own care.
