Every year 1 in 4 people experience stress, anxiety, depression or another type of mental or emotional distress. NEW Mind can help people:
Find a listening ear: our non-judgemental staff and volunteers will listen to concerns, stresses, worries and fears.
Get support from our trained peer mentors and counsellors to get their life back on track.
Relax at one of our relaxation groups or with a therapeutic massage.
Join activities including art and walking to cinema and bowling trips.
Make new friends and build up confidence by coming along to our drop-in or joining our OCN Accredited Volunteering Programme.
Access information on all aspects of mental wellbeing and local health and support services.
Learn how to manage their mental health and support others with our informal self-help training courses.
