Community Printing Project

The Printing Resource & Equipment Loan Centre, provides high quality, cost-effective printing and design services services for voluntary/community organisations. We are now based in the new FLVC offices in Mold Business Park and can be contacted on 01352 744031.

The printing resources consist of:

• 2 colour digital photocopiers connected to our network so it can print directly from a computer file up to A3 in size
• One of these machines can produce finished booklets/newsletters, folded and stapled, and punch holes for standard 2/4 hole ring-binders
• 24 inch wide format printer, giving photographic quality A1 sized prints (about 2' x 3')
• A scanning duplicator, which can can print in four colours - red, green, blue and black - useful for long runs of simple, single coloured documents.
• A power guillotine, very useful for producing A5 leaflets from an A4 original.
• A saddle-stitch power stapler, 
• Comb-binder (A4) 
• Laminator for up to A3 size. 
• Computers are also available for word processing/design and layout using the latest Adobe graphics and publishing programmes.
• A4 leaflet folder - capable of batch processing with four different types of fold.
• A postal franking system to save you sticking all those stamps on - will process up to 130 letters/minute, and can include your own logo - please ask in the Resource Room for more details.

The Information and Resource Centres in Flint and Deeside also have computers and Digital Photocopiers, which locally based organisations can use instead of having to come all the way to Mold.
