|Non Clinical Volunteers for Surge Testing (Flintshire)||Support Testing Centres and door to door delivery and collection of PCR tests.|
Surge testing is the roll out of additional community testing of people who do not have any coronavirus symptoms. It will also help reduce the spread of infection by finding asymptomatic cases and prompting people to self-isolate.
|Non-Clinical Support (Awareness Raising) Covid 19 Vaccination Take-Up||Volunteers will raise awareness and encourage people to take up the offer of the vaccine by speaking to the general public at and around ‘pop up’ vaccination sites and by posting leaflets door to door.||Click here|
|Care Home Volunteers|
We are looking for volunteers who are willing to provide support to Care teams and residents within Care Homes in Flintshire.
As these roles are based within the social care sector supporting vulnerable adults, the Care Home will need to carry out an enhanced DBS check, and obtain one reference. You will also be provided with relevant training and support.
