2. Relevant training for Flintshire third sector employees and volunteers

We are pleased to offer the following training courses to those who work for and volunteer on behalf of charitable, voluntary and community groups and organisations in Flintshire.

*Participants can attend these sessions by way of an introduction to, or a refresher on, Safeguarding awareness.
The course has optional accreditation of the learning (qualification: Level 1 Award in Safeguarding Awareness) 

**Free places for volunteers are limited, and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and only to volunteers who fulfil a role that requires an awareness of safeguarding issues.  Interest in a free place for a volunteer must be registered by an employee/trustee of a third sector organisation or group.  Free places are limited to one volunteer per organisation or group.  Groups and organisations can book and pay for additional places for volunteers if they wish.
