Nest is the Welsh Government Flagship Fuel Poverty Eradication Programme offereing energy efficiency improvements to householders in Wales. Nest replaced the previous Home Energy Efficiency Scheme in tackling fuel poverty.
Nest is available to householders who are in receipt of means tested benefits, and privately own or are privately renting a domestic property. In addition, the property must have an energy effiency rating of F or G which would indicate that the home offers poor energy effiency. The Nest Scheme aims to tackle the energy efficiency of a property ultimately enabling householders to benefit from a warmer home and lower energy bills.
Organisations and their representatives can contact Rick Ward, North Wales Partnership Development Manager, on: 07903 443 655 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
