Situated on a 10 acre woodland site in Flintshire, Plas Bellin Hall has evolved over 30 years to be our first successful Together Village®.
In addition to the 24 cottages used for emergency accommodation, we also provide the fundamental tools and resources to keep families together. On site there is an Adult Learning Centre with fully-equipped training kitchens, where families learn how to cook on a budget, and to provide nutritional meals for their families. A training room also gives the mums and dads an opportunity to gain training and experience in life skills such as budgeting, literacy, numeracy and confidence building. Children remain at the heart of everything we do, and Plas Bellin is no exception to this.
There is a safe and colourful nursery for babies and children, a homework club, as well as the Joan Boswell Hall, where young people can develop. There are outdoor play areas and equipment, which creates a warm and safe environment where children can play. The ‘Include Us’ youth programme offers a fully packed schedule of ongoing support and motivation for young people. It comprises of social enterprise and development activities including local volunteering, outreach work, the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, publishing, film-making and coaching on personal effectiveness and self expression.
