FREE Training for FLVC Members: Introduction to Volunteer Management

FREE Training for FLVC Members: Introduction to Volunteer Management

This nationally developed course is delivered by two experts in volunteer management and is happening the day before International Volunteers Day, which seems fitting!

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Describe what is needed when planning for volunteering
  • Understand what good volunteer management involves
  • Explain how to safely recruit and support volunteers
  • Appreciate how to communicate well with volunteers
  • List what policies and procedures to have in place

It’s the perfect course for those who are fairly new to working with volunteers and for those who would like a refresher on the key principles.

This 1-day course will run on Thursday, 4th December, starting promptly at 9:30am and finishing at 4:00pm at The Daniel Owen Centre in Mold.

This training is free to FLVC members (membership is free – click here if your organisation is not already a member). If you’re unsure about your membership status, please call us on 01352 744000 or email [email protected].
